Since the establishment of the TAKIGAHARA community, members from various backgrounds within Japan and around the world have gathered in this small village in Ishikawa to share their visions and create a “satoyama” for the modern age. 

Our goal remains the same: to collaborate in building a peaceful, creative community that respects the environment and the people of the entire Takigahara community.

We are looking for new community members who share our philosophy and are willing to create the future of TAKIGAHARA with us!

Job Description

Community members will be involved in all of the following tasks:

• Hostel operations
• Cafe operations
• Chicken farming

Application Requirements:

• Driver’s license required
• Valid work permit in Japan
• Conversational Japanese ability

Working style:

• Shift system
• Share house available
