The Satoyama Nature School, organized by local residents, offers programs that allow people to experience the great nature of Takihara. One of these programs is the “Satoyama Shokudo. Local mothers serve local dishes using seasonal ingredients from the satoyama. Please come and try this nostalgic and comforting meal that will make you feel as if you have returned to your parents’ home.
