Hello everyone, it’s been a while.

As the snow melts and the greenery begins to sprout in the satoyama of Takigahara, we are happy to announce that our 2026 season officially began in March.

To kick off the new season, we have updated our operations to ensure an even more fulfilling experience for our guests. We’ve moved our cafe opening time earlier so you can enjoy a peaceful morning in the valley, and we’ve also expanded our sauna reservation slots. Our entire staff is looking forward to welcoming you back to the clear air and tranquil pace of life here.

New Updates from April

SAUNA: Expanded to 3 Slots Per Day To accommodate more guests, we are increasing our sauna availability from two to three sessions per day.

• New Time Slots: 9:00–11:00 / 12:30–14:30 / 16:00–18:00
• Price: Weekdays ¥6,600 / Weekends & Holidays ¥7,700 (per person)

CAFE: New Hours & Launch of Morning Service The cafe now opens at 8:30 AM, featuring a brand-new morning menu. It’s the perfect stop before a hike up Mt. Kurakake or for those simply wishing to soak in the quiet morning atmosphere of the village.

• Business Hours: 8:30–15:00 (Closed on Tuesdays)
• Morning Service: 8:30–11:00 (L.O. 10:30)
• Lunch Service: 11:00–15:00 (L.O. 14:30)

DINNER: Now Open Daily (Except Tuesdays / Reservation Required) Previously available only on weekends, our dinner service will now be available every day except Tuesdays. Please enjoy our course meals featuring seasonal local ingredients in the peaceful evening setting of Takigahara.
